Silent Auction

We will once again be hosting a silent auction to raise money to help students with costs associated with attending WIFDWC. For the last 7 years, we have raised $1000+ every year! From the silent auction proceeds, we were able to provide travel awards to deserving students and we hope to keep on that tradition. We can’t do it without your wonderful contributions and participation. Not only has it been successful, it’s also a fun way for WIFDWC members to contribute to the monetary needs of our budding pathologists!

Donation ideas include, but are not limited to:
•Handmade items or products from your favorite hobby- such as sewing, wood working (wood crafted items are always a HUGE hit), jewelry making (there were some beautiful pieces auctioned off last year), etc.;
•Specialty food items- regional specialties (last year someone brought down some Canadian maple syrup!), homemade items such as wine, candies, sauces (Mike’s amazing hot sauces maybe….), etc.;
•Art work of any sort;
•Photos of the beautiful places we get to work in;
•Historical publications that are now out of print;
•Awesome tools of our trade!

We are looking for items of all price points so that as many people as possible can participate in the bidding! As always, the proceeds from this auction help fund Student Travel Awards, which help students attend and speak at WIFDWC.

So don't return those ill-fitting Christmas gifts! Start working on that piece of art! Stash your goodies away now, and bring them with you to Idaho in May 2020!

It’s not too early to start thinking about some really cool items to contribute for raising money for deserving students!! If not attending the meeting, Silent auction items can be mailed by April 27th to:
